About Mhairi
Mhairi has worked in financial services for over 10 years, building experience in client support and business operations roles before moving further into financial planning. Having completed her Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, she is now continuing her development towards becoming a financial planner.
Until then, Mhairi continues to play an important role in both the day-to-day running of Sunlaw and the care of client relationships. Her work includes arranging meetings, answering client queries, keeping clients updated, processing new business, carrying out research, preparing meeting notes, and drafting recommendation reports.
What Mhairi values most about working with family is the honesty, respect, and sense of fun that comes from knowing each other so well. Alongside her client-facing and technical work, Mhairi also helps ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes and supports the training of new team members.
In Mhairi's spare time
Outside work, Mhairi enjoys spending time outdoors, with weekends often spent walking, running, and exploring the countryside. She also enjoys music, plays the guitar, and writes songs, as well as painting to relax. At home, she enjoys time with her pets, Sunny, Toby, and Lu.
